Dear FLEX Alumni!
Let me introduce myself :)
My name is Nastia Popkova. I'm FLEX Alumna'13
And I was granted a great opportunity to be an active member of FLEX Alumni community and be an alumni-coordinator. Such an amazing thing for me to do! I will be very happy to see you all as soon as possible in our American Councils Office.
We have not been very active in recent months since there has not been an alumni coordinator. I would like to start by having a meeting. You are all invited and very welcome to come to American Councils office on the 4th of April (this Friday) at 6 p.m. (Okeanskiy prospect, 15a (3rd floor) We have a lot of things to discuss and do. Remember? In the USA you were have to make a volunteering project for the Global Youth Service Day (GYSD). By good chance, we have an opportunity to organize the same activity in our local Russian community.
So we need to meet and discuss this event.
Denis also wants us to work with children with physical disabilities so they get a chance to participate in FLEX program this fall. And this is another subject to be discussed at our meeting.
