Hello, my dear FLEX Alumni!
It was really disappointing to wait and wait for you, then to realize that you are not going to come. Luckily, Sonya Melnichyuk showed up, and we shared all of the cookies and juice with her.
We completely understand that everyone is busy and occupied with other important activities that take preference over attending FLEX Alumni meetings ... but we, too, need your attention - to help, as FLEX program alumni, in creating a better community for all. We still need to figure out what to do with the Global Youth Service Day, and we cannot organize it without your involvement. We've got other projects proposed as well, but they all depend on us.
So let's try again! This time I'd like to get your feedback first: I will be distributing a survey so we can decide the best time for everyone to attend a planning meeting. And we'll even treat those who attend to pizza and Coke!
We encourage you to respond to the survey and to participate in events. Remember, each of us can make a difference! ... and we can improve the life of the community itself.
